Astlinux Renewed

In working towards completion of article on the GSM gateway I took some time to rework my Astlinux server. I finally got around to installing Lonnie Abelbeck’s new web interface. It’s really good.

The beauty of Astlinux is that it’s built to a task. It’s just what’s required and nothing more. The old web interface was spartan but functional.

This new one is just a little more of the same. It’s got a number of handy features but doesn’t try to be a great big GUI like most every other Asterisk GUI project. It’s lightweight, and I had it installed in about 10 minutes. I wish more things worked as well. This is genuinely useful.
