Matt Watson’s Blog Is Interesting

This afternoon I happened upon a blog I’d not seen before from Matt Watson. A fellow Canadian Matt’s blog has several interesting items including a story, in several parts, of migrating his employer to an Asterisk based PBX. He also has some nice description of establishing QoS for VOIP using the Vyatta open source router. I’m really curious about Vyatta, but I do think its perhaps more than a little beyond my SOHO needs.

In any case, it’s nice to discover a fellow Canuck with similar interests. Especially when here in Texas it’s been over 90 degrees for the past few weeks and I’m missing the decent weather of the Niagara region this time of year. Stella and I were up there just a few weeks ago and the crabapple blossoms were just gorgeous.
