Just a couple of days ago Dave Michels mentioned that he had acquired some of the Videssence ViewMe Lights. The lucky devil, his were acquired on-the-cheap via Ebay. It’s curious that the web site at www.ViewMeLight.com seems to be D.O.A. even though the product page is up at the Videssence website.
The real reason for this post is that I’ve stumbled upon what appears be a very nice set of lights for video use. They were shown in a demo video from DVE Telepresence. Sadly, I don’t know who makes these items. I grabbed a frame from the video in the hope that someone would be able tell me.
Looking at the video it seems that these throw a nice, soft fill light without being blinding. There’s also a larger set that they associate with their Huddle 70 system.
If you know about these lights please leave a comment. Of course, I could contact DVE Telepresense and ask them directly. I may yet do that, but I thought it worth trying to crowd-source the info first.
