Kudos to Jason and company for acting to resolve the issue. Also for making the G.722 codec available in the retail release. Now VoIP users can experience the benefits of wideband telephony without resorting to costly hardware phones. While I love my Polycom IP650/550/450s I find that a soft phone is especially useful when I travel, which is a lot lately.
I’ll post more about the Eyebeam release once I have some hands-on experience using the software. It’ll also give me a good basis for further evaluation of the Plantronics .Audio 480 headset that I’ve been using since the holidays.
